Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Taylormade Plastering collects through this website, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by Taylormade Plastering, a plastering contractor run by Jimmy Taylor and based in Clara, Co. Offaly, Ireland. Taylormade Plastering is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website.

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send us through the contact form:

  • your name;
  • your phone number; and
  • the message you write, including any details about your property or project.

We don't ask for your email address, and we ask that you don't include sensitive personal information in your message.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running. Your IP address may also be used briefly to limit repeated form submissions.

Why we use it

We use the details you provide only to respond to your enquiry, for example to call you back and discuss your project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us, and, where you go on to ask us to carry out work, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.

How your message is delivered

When you submit the form, your message is sent to our business email inbox using an email delivery service, Resend , which processes the message on our behalf. This website is hosted by Vercel. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. You can read their privacy policies on their own websites.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for any period required for legal, tax or insurance purposes. After that, they are deleted.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information; and
  • ask for your information to be transferred to another organisation, where applicable.

If you're unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's data protection authority, at dataprotection.ie.

Contact us about privacy

To make a request or ask a question about your information, call Jimmy Taylor on 087 973 2925 or send a message through our contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the way the website works changes, for example if analytics are added in future. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
